Eye Palette Candy

I have a confession to make. I am a little obsessed with eye palettes. I refuse to admit how many I actually own, but let's just say it's enough to last many lifetimes. Still, I can't seem to resist picking them up when they call my name from Sephora. Eye palettes themselves are just as artistic as what you can do with them. Something about looking at the colors neatly arranged in their sections simultaneously appeals to my neat-freak nature and my artsy nature. Here are some of my favorites, arranged for your viewing pleasure. I own a few of them, and may own a few more in the future. ;-)

Beauty can be EXPENSIVE! That's why whenever I can, I try to find good products on the cheap. One thing I have found is that price does not equal value when it comes to mascara. I have tried mascaras under $5 that amazed me, and I have tried mascaras that cost more than $35 and been super let down. That's why I decided to devote a portion of my blog to drug store cosmetics reviews. This way, you can learn from my mistakes without wasting your money!

The first thing I want to say is that none of the photos of my eye that you see in this post have been filtered, retouched, or altered in any way.  These came straight from the camera to the blog. That being said, this product absolutely amazed me.

About a year ago, I realized I was wearing a lot of the wrong colors. You hear a lot about what style clothing is most flattering, including what cuts, fabrics, and textures make you look your best. What we don't hear about a lot is what colors look the best on us. The reason for this is that it varies completely from person to person. When you try things on, you definitely notice that some colors look really good on you, and others don't, but have you ever wondered why?

 Part of what I hope to accomplish through the blog is giving my readers valuable information about great products that I have found. One of the things that makes me feel the most beautiful is long, lush eyelashes.
