The Perfect Pout

Everyone may not agree with me, but I believe that the perfect red lip color can take an outfit up about three notches!

I realize that a lot of women aren't comfortable with bold lip color if they aren't used to wearing it. That's OK though, because you can start small and work your way up!

I picked up this great set from Sephora over the weekend. 

The reason I recommend it is because it has a ton of bold reddish lip colors with the color"toned down" in gloss form. 

You can play with the color until you find one you like. None of them are over the top.

Some things to keep in mind when you go to pick out a red lip color: 

1) If your skin is very fair, start with coral-red shades.

2) If your complexion is medium, start with cranberries to true reds.

3) If you skin is deep, start with burgundy reds.

Obviously, none of these color guidelines are set in stone, but they are great starting points to finding a color you love.  

When you find your perfect shade, you will know it and you will feel like you can conquer the world.
