No matter how much of a "city girl" I am now, it's always important to remember my roots. I come from a small town on the outskirts of a small town. Sims, NC to be exact. The earliest memories I have are of living here. Life seems to race by faster and faster, but at my grandparents' house, to me at least, time stands still. I am lucky enough to get to share two meals on Thanksgiving, and my first stop was there. I thought it would be great to take my pictures for my blog outside their house.  Thanksgiving. There is a real art to choosing a Thanksgiving outfit. You want to look cute, but you also need to wear something with "room to grow" if you want to enjoy plenty of delicious food! A loose fitting cozy sweater and fleece-lined leggings were just what the doctor ordered!
